After the safari, you will have some time in your accommodation before heading to the highlands to your next hotel in Ella.<\/span><\/p>\n Day 3: The next morning we will show you the beauty of the highlands and take you to waterfalls and tea plantations.<\/span><\/p>\n Day 4: After another night in Ella we will drive to Horton Plains National Park early in the morning. You can explore this wonderful national park by foot and if you reach the World\u2019s End cliff by 10am, you will be rewarded with a fascinating view. Afterwards we will drive to your next accommodation near Adam\u2019s Peak. <\/span><\/p>\n Day 5: In the middle of the night begins your ascent to the 2,243 m high Adam\u2019s Peak. It is very exhausting, but once you reach the summit, the view is unforgettable. ALTERNATIVELY, we can drive from Horton Plains National Park to Sri Lanka\u2019s highest mountain, the Pidurutalagala. It is not allowed to visit it by foot, but only by taxi, but the view is just as breathtaking. After Adam\u2019s Peak or Pidurutalagala, we will drive to Kandy. In the afternoon you can explore Kandy on your own.<\/span><\/p>\n Day 6: After a night in Kandy, we will visit the Temple of the Tooth in the morning and drive on to visit the cave temples of Dambulla. We will visit the endless tea plantations and the Diyaluma waterfalls. In the evening we will bring you to your first accommodation.<\/span><\/p>\n Day 2: The next morning we will drive to Little Adam\u2019s Peak. Although Little Adam\u2019s Peak is “only” 1.140m high, the view is almost as fantastic as from the 2.200 m high Adam\u2019s Peak and the summit can be reached within just 30 minutes. In the afternoon we will drive to Arugam Bay on the east coast.<\/span><\/p>\n Day 3: Since, in our opinion, Arugam Bay is home to one of the country\u2019s most beautiful beaches, a beach day is in order. Therefore, we will take you to the “Peanut Farm Beach” in the morning. In the afternoon we will pick you up again and take you back to the hotel.<\/span><\/p>\n Day 4: The next morning we will drive to the “Elephant Rock”, from where you will have a great view of a wide bay. If you are lucky, you will even be able to see elephants in the surrounding area. Around noon we will reach your accommodation near Gal Oya National Park.<\/span><\/p>\n Day 5: The next morning a boat safari tour will take place on the national park\u2019s 78km\u00b2 big reservoir. In this park you can see many exotic birds and, if you are lucky, otherwise unusually large elephant herds. After the safari we will drive to your next accommodation in Polonnaruwa.<\/span><\/p>\n Day 6: In the morning we will visit the impressive ruined city of Polonnaruwa with the rock temple Gal Vihara and the well-preserved Buddha statues. In the afternoon we will head to your next hotel in Sigiriya.<\/span><\/p>\n Day 7: Early in the morning we will climb the lion rock of Sigiriya (UNESCO World Heritage Site) or the smaller neighbouring rock Pidurangala. Enjoy the wonderful view of the palm tree-covered island. You will spend the rest of the day in Sigiriya.<\/span><\/p>\n Day 8: After another night in Sigiriya we will drive to the cave temples of Dambulla in the morning. After you have visited the impressive cave temples, we will drive on to Trincomalee on the east coast. We will take you to your beachside accommodation.<\/span><\/p>\n Day 9: We will take you to the beautiful Pidgeon Island National Park. Boats depart every half hour from one of the endless white sandy beaches, taking you to the island. On the island you can go snorkeling, go for a swim or just enjoy the sun. In the evening we will bring you back to your hotel.<\/span><\/p>\n Day 10: After yesterday\u2019s day at the beach, today is all about culture. We will visit the most beautiful Hindu temples of the country, Pathirakali Amman Temple and Tirukoneswaram, located in Trincomalee as well as the fortress Fort Fredrick. <\/span><\/p>\n Day 11: After another night in Trincomalee, you will have this day to yourselves and can spend it at one of the beautiful white sand beaches. Trincomalee is one of the best spots for diving in Sri Lanka \u2013 feel free to talk to us, we know the diving bases.<\/span><\/p>\n Day 12: After another night in Trinco, we will drive to Anuradhapura the next morning to visit the significant Buddhist temple Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi and the former royal city Anuradhapura in the surrounding large Dagobas. In the evening we will go to a hotel nearby.<\/span><\/p>\n Day 13: Early in the morning we will drive to Wilpattu National Park, where you will begin the safari. If you are lucky, you can observe elephants, leopards and sloth bears. Afterwards, the jeep will take you to your next accommodation, a tent in the jungle. <\/span><\/p>\n Day 14: The tour ends after an adventurous overnight stay and breakfast in the middle of the jungle.
