Day 1: After we have picked you up at the airport or its surroundings, we will drive to the Pinnawella Elephant Orphanage, where you can watch the elephants during their daily bathing ritual. Afterwards we will drive to the first accommodation in Kandy.

Day 2: After an overnight stay in Kandy, we will visit the Temple of the Tooth and will then drive on to the cave temples in Dambulla. Once you have explored the cave temple, we will drive to the next accommodation in Sigiriya.

Day 3: Early in the morning you will climb the famous Lion Rock, with its enormous rock fortress, which is one of Sri Lanka’s UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites. You can either enjoy the great view for a little longer or you can climb the less touristic neighboring rock Pidurangala. Of course, you can also choose this rock over the Lion Rock. In the evening we will drive on to your hotel in Anuradhapura.

Day 4: On the last day we will explore the former royal city Anuradhapura and the important Buddhist temple Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi.

End of the tour – we will take you to the airport or to your connecting hotel

Day 1: After we have picked you up at the airport or the surrounding area, we will drive to your accommodation in Sigiriya.

Day 2: The next morning you will start the ascent of the famous Lion Rock, one of Sri Lanka’s World Heritage Sites. Alternatively, or additionally you can also visit the less touristic neighboring Pidurangala Rock. Around noon we will drive to your hotel in Nuwara Eliya via Dambulla to visit the cave temples.

Day 3: After recovering from yesterday’s 4-5-hour drive, we will visit the Lover’s Leap waterfalls, Lake Gregory or the mountainous landscape Pidurutalagala in Nuwara Eliya. In the evening we will drive on to Ella.

Day 4: In Ella we will visit the endless tea plantations and waterfalls. The tour ends in the afternoon. We will take you to the airport or to your connecting hotel.

Day 1: We will head north from the airport or its surroundings to Kalpitya. taking you to your beachside accommodation, where you can relax on your first day.

Day 2: Early in the morning we will drive to Wilpattu National Park, where you can enjoy either a half-day or full-day safari. In this park you can marvel at elephants, leopards, many other animals and the beautiful scenery. Afterwards we will drive to your next hotel in Anuradhapura.

Day 3: Today we will visit the temples Jaya Sri Maha Bodi and Ruwanwelisaya as well as the old town of Anuradhapura. In the afternoon we will drive on to your beachside accommodation in Trincomalee on the beautiful east coast.

Day 4: In the morning we will take you to the beautiful Pidgeon Island National Park. Boats depart every half hour from one of the endless white sandy beaches, taking you to the island. On the island you can go snorkeling, go for a swim or just enjoy the sun. After the relaxing excursion, we will visit Thirukoneswaram, one of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful Hindu temples, before taking you back to your hotel.

Day 5: In the morning we will visit the impressive ruined city of Polonnaruwa with the rock temple Gal Vihara and the well-preserved Buddha statues. In the afternoon we will head to your next hotel in Sigiriya.

Day 6: Early in the morning you will climb the Lion Rock of Sigiriya (UNESCO World Heritage Site) or the smaller neighboring rock Pidurangala. Enjoy the wonderful view of the palm tree-covered island.

After getting some rest in the hotel, the tour is over, and we will take you to the airport or to your connecting hotel.

Day 1: After picking you up at the airport or your nearby hotel, we will drive to Anuradhapura, the former royal city, where we will visit the temples Jaya Sri Maha Bodi and Ruwanwelisaya as well as the old town of Anuradhapura. At the end of this culture-filled day, we will take you to your hotel nearby.

Day 2: Today we will visit the impressive, archaeological ruined city Polonnaruwa with its rock temple Gal Vihara and its well-preserved Buddha statues. In the evening we will drive towards Sigiriya to your accommodation.

Day 3: In the morning hours you will climb the famous Lion Rock (UNESCO World Heritage Site) or the smaller, less touristic neighboring rock Pidurangala and enjoy the fantastic view of the palm tree-covered island. You will spend the rest of the day and another night in Sigirya.

Day 4: We will head towards Nuwara Eliya early in the morning. On our way, we will visit the impressive cave temples in Dambulla. Once we reach Nuwara Eliya in the early afternoon, we will have some time left to visit one of the waterfalls and Lake Gregory. After getting your first impression of Sri Lanka’s highlands, we will take you to your accommodation.

Day 5: Once again it is time to get up early and head to Horton Plains National Park, where you can explore the fascinating landscape of the park on your own. If you reach the cliff World’s End before 10 a.m., you are rewarded with a breathtaking view reaching far into the south. In the afternoon we will be back at the hotel.

Day 6: You can decide whether you want to drive to the mountains again like Pidurutalagala, the highest mountain in Sri Lanka or want to visit the Lover’s Leap waterfall or Lake Gregory.

After our last trip together, the tour ends in the afternoon and we will take you to the airport or to your connecting hotel.
